CHILDREN’S DAY AND CHAMPION DRIVE TODAY AT THE WASHINGTON CO. FAIR

  

Today is Children’s Day at the Washington County Fair.

A free lunch for all the kids will be served beginning at 11:00 a.m.

The Brenham ISD will present the fourth annual Champion Drive, a program designed to provide a fair experience to Brenham ISD students with special needs and their families.

Champion Drive is a collaborative effort between Brenham ISD staff and students and dozens of local sponsors and volunteers.

The 2017 event will celebrate 35 student participants matched with over 75 4H and FFA buddies.

Champion Drive is is open the public and gets underway at 10:30 am in Barn #1 at the Fairgrounds.

The Colt Sale is set for 4:30 this afternoon.  The Commercial Steer Awards and Sale is slated to begin at 5:30.  The Commercial Heifer Sale is at 7:00.

The Heart of America Carnival opens at 6:00.

The Rodeo begins at 7:30.

Tonight’s entertainment features Brandon Ryder at 8:00 and the Casey Donahew Band at 10:00.

Holly Ryder will be broadcasting live this morning on KWHI.
