CITIZENS COLLECTION STATION TO HOLD ANNUAL COLLECTION DAYS
The Citizens Collection Station will hold its 2015 Annual Spring Open Collection Days March 19th-21st for City of Brenham residents only, and March 26th-28th for Washington County residents only, and is free upon presentation of proof of residence.
The collection is for non-hazardous materials only, and no commercial customers will be allowed.
Some of the items being accepted during the open collection days include household debris, yard debris, furniture, scrap metal such as iron, aluminum, etc, demolition debris, auto batteries, construction materials, and appliance.
A $20 fee for coolant removal in appliances will be assessed prior to drop off. Tires will be accepted at the normal gate rate.
No propane tanks or large quantities of computers or household computers will be accepted. Also not accepted are loads that contain dirt, cement, and/or bricks.
Citizens are reminded to pick up a load of Municipal Mulch after unloading their trailers.
