CITY COULD OPEN DAMAGED BURLESON ST. NEXT WEEK
Officials with the City of Brenham say a section of Burleson Street where a culvert was washed out by flooding more than two weeks ago could be reopened sometime next week.
The culvert near Hohlt Park was washed away April 18.
Public works director Dane Rau said concrete “wings” around replacement culverts are being poured, and dirt replacement is expected to begin Monday.
Rau says completion of the project has been delayed due to problems with water lines at the crossing.
Rau adds that the city is replacing the 84-inch culvert with two 72-inch pipes.

I think they should have saved money and left it closed dangerous curve where it wash out. Save lives and money wining
