CITY EMPLOYEES RECEIVE SPECIAL RECOGNITION THURSDAY

  

A number of employees of the city of Brenham received special recognition during Thursday’s City Council meeting.

Police Officer Todd Ashorn received his Sergeant Badge during a pinning ceremony.  Ashorn joined the Brenham Police force in October of 2000 and currently serves as the Administrative Officer and the Citizens on Patrol liaison.

Sara Parker was recognized for earning her Lifetime Certification as a Certified Purchasing Manager from the Institute for Supply Management.  She joined the city’s finance department in 2014.

Four employees were recognized for their years of service to the city.  Jerred Eschete has served for five years with the Brenham Fire Department.  Kaci Konieczny has served 5 years in the City Finance Department.  Cindy Ross has been with the Public Utilities Department for 15 years, and Trey Gully has served with the Police Department for 20 years.
