CITY OF BRENHAM RECEIVING $3.5 MILLION SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS FOR DISABLED

The City of Brenham’s pedestrians are getting $3.5 million dollars worth of new sidewalk improvements, meant to help people with disabilities get around better in the city.

The sidewalks are being made compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, to make getting around the city easier.

Bob Colwell, TXDOT’s Public Information Officer for the Bryan District, gives an update on the project:

The completion date of the project is solely weather-dependent, so the predicted May completion date may need to be extended, according to Colwell.
