CITY SEEKING COMMUNITY INPUT ON HENDERSON PARK RENOVATION

The City of Brenham is seeking input from the community about the renovation of Henderson Park.

The Brenham Parks and Recreation Department is working to create a master plan to renovate, make upgrades, and add amenities to Henderson Park.

A public meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12 at 5:30pm at Henderson Park Kitchen, located at 804 Old N. Market Street.

“Residents are encouraged to attend and comment as the feedback received will be integrated within the master plan for the park.” said Dane Rau, Director of Public Works.

City staff will share concepts and ideas related to future enhancements to Henderson Park, followed by an interactive session where attendees can provide feedback about what’s important for the community relating to Henderson Park.

City staff and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will be available during the meeting to answer questions and discuss the project.

  1. I am very jealous that the city has done so much since I have moved away and to hear they are already looking to impove- kudos to the City of Brenham! I cannot wait to move back when my contract expires!

  2. Que the million dollar renovation in 5-4-3-2-1. I am sure we are going to build some new red brick monstrosity full of high tech amenities. Maybe a Colosseum, we havent built one of those yet. How about a coat of paint, some gravel and call it a day…
