CITY OF NAVASOTA TO HOST “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS.”

  

The City of Navasota is proud to present the third annual “Home for the Holidays” event Saturday,  December 13th.

Join us as historic Downtown Navasota is transformed into a Winter Wonderland full of family activities and fun!  Ice skating will be available from 10AM-6PM.

Beginning at noon, the area around City Hall will feature a Christmas train, snow slide and much more.  Miller’s Theatre will offer FREE showings of The Polar Express at Noon and 2PM.

Many downtown businesses will also be hosting activities throughout the day such as pictures with Santa, live dulcimer music, cookie decorating and many more festivities!  Several local nonprofit organizations will be trying to raise money for their cause by selling holiday snacks, beverages and crafts throughout the day.

The Christmas Parade will also be held on December 13th at 6pm as part of this event.  After the end of the parade we encourage everyone to come over to the City Hall for the lighting of the community Christmas tree at 7pm.
