COLLEGE STATION DRUG DEAL TURNS INTO CHASE — SHOTS FIRED

  

Four Brazos County men are behind bars after an apparent drug deal turned into a car chase with shots fired.

According to police, two men identified as Chadwich Garrett and Kendall Bryant tried to use 43 fake $100 bills to purchase drugs from two other men.

The two alleged dealers, identified as Richard Russell and Denzell Edwards, realized the bill were phonies, leading to a car chase.

That chase led into Bryan were Russell and Edwards allegedly fired gunshots at the other vehicle in the area of Wellborn Rd. and Harvey Mitchell Parkway.

The two vehicles were eventually pulled over by authorities.

The four suspects each face a variety of charges.

A woman who was with Garrett and Bryant has not been charged.
