COLLEGE STATION MAN ARRESTED IN WASHINGTON COUNTY AFTER VEHICLE PURSUIT

A College Station man wanted by Navasota Police, has been arrested in Washington County.

Officers attempted to stop twenty-five year old Dexter Pratt, of College Station, who was wanted on an Aggravated Assault Warrant from an incident on October 13th in Navasota.

Navasota Police had received information that Pratt was somewhere in Navasota.

When police attempted to stop Pratt on a traffic stop in Navasota, he fled in the vehicle, and was pursued into Washington County.

During the pursuit, Pratt threw several items out of the vehicle, which were later identified as a controlled substance.

The pursuit ended on Sweed Road in Washington County, where the driver again fled on foot.

With the help of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Brenham Police, DPS and Washington County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office, Pratt was located and apprehended without incident.

In addition to the warrant, Pratt was also charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Evading Arrest or Detention.
