COLVIN TO PLAY IN COACHES ALL-STAR GAME

Former Brenham Cub basketball player Ja’Corey Colvin will be playing in the 2014 Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Game in San Antonio, July 21.

Colvin, a 6-4 senior forward this past season for the Cubs, averaged 13.4 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.  Colvin also shot 60-percent from the floor, with 47 steals and 30 blocked shots.

Colvin will be joined on the South All-Stars by Montgomery forward Currie Byrd and Mumford guard Aubrie King.
