COMMISSIONERS APPROVED DATA USE AGREEMENT

  

The Washington County Commissioners discussed and approved a Data Use Agreement between the Texas Health and Human Services Enterprise and Washington County for the use of a remote birth certificate site, and the HIPPA privacy rules concerning its use.

The privacy rules concern the strength of confidentiality of the public having access to birth information online.

The Commissioners also approved the appointment of Annie Schulz to the Brazos Valley Regional Advisory Committee on Aging. Schulz was approved for the position after the previous representative, Dorothy Morgan, recently resigned from the position.

Also approved were the pending Fairgrounds Management’s Rental Regulations contract, as well as the monthly reports for accounts payable and other county offices.
