COMMISSIONERS TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS
The Washington County Commissioners will be authorizing the County Engineer to advertise bids on numerous road repair and building products and other items for the maintenance and safety of the county when they meet Tuesday morning at 9am.
They will allow County Engineer Don Werth to seek bids on culverts, drive bridge pilings, fuel for road and bridge, EMS, Sheriff’s department, Environmental Department, the District Attorney’s office, constable and courthouse maintenance.
They will also seek bids on oils, asphalts and emulsion materials, steel products and tree removal services.
The County Commissioners will also act on granting the County Auditor the authority to conduct an audit of the Asset Forfeiture Report by the 21st District Attorney as required by the code of criminal procedure.
The Commissioners will also canvass last Tuesday’s elections.
The Washington County Commissioners will meet Tuesday morning at 9 at the courthouse.
