COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER NEW VEHICLES FOR SHERIFF’S OFFICE

  

The Washington County Commissioners will consider giving the Sheriff’s Office the authority to purchase four 2016 Chevrolet Tahoes, one 2016 Ford Expedition and the emergency vehicle equipment for the purchase of vehicles from state contractor vendors using funds from the 2016 budget when they meet on Tuesday at 9am.

Also on the agenda is the discussion of formal notices for Buried Utility Lines, one on N Briarwood in Precinct 3 by PGMS Central Washington County Water Supply Corporation, and the other on Raymond Lehmann Lane in Precinct 4 by Industry Telephone Company for a buried communications cable.

The commissioners will also discuss and act upon the approval of a Resolution for the abandonment and conveyance of 0.476 acre of a county road right-of-way on Bluehaven Hill Road in Precinct 2.

Also up for approval is a Proclamation declaring Saturday, November 7, 2015 as “Relay for Life Day” in Washington County.

The commissioners meet in the court chambers at the Washington County Courthouse.
