COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS PURCHASE OF POLICE INTERCEPTOR BY E M S

  

The Washington County Commissioners will discuss the possibility of granting the Washington County EMS the authority to purchase a 2016 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor-Utility AWD from a state contract vendor using the Bluebonnet Community Grant funds when they meet on Tuesday at 9am.

The EMS is also asking for the ability to purchase a Zimek Decontamination System from a sole-source vendor using grant funds from the Homeland Security Grant Program.

The Commissioners will also discuss and possibly accept a grant from the Homeland Security Grant Program which would be awarded to Washington County.

Also on the agenda is the discussion on granting the County Auditor the authority to conduct an audit of the FY2015 Chapter 59 Asset Forfeiture Report by the 21st Judicial District Attorney, as required by the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The commissioners will also discuss the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between Washington County and the Brazos Valley Council of Government/Transportation Partnership Program, which will provide support and resources for the provision of transportation service for Washington County Residents.

There will also be a discussion to extend the Agreement between Washington County and Revenue Optimization Solutions, LLC for professional services necessary to establish and maintain Washington County/Washington County EMS as an approved provider in the Texas Ambulance Supplemental Payment Program.

The Washington County Commissioners meet in court chambers of the Washington County Courthouse.
