COMMUNITY WIDE THANKSGIVING SERVICE

A more than 60 year tradition will continue with the community wide Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service this Sunday at 6pm at the Champion Fellowship Church at 302 West Lubbock.

The Rev. Randy Wells says this service will include over twenty-five churches and have plenty of music, to celebrate unity and faith during this Thanksgiving season.

The host church this year is Champion Fellowship and Pastor Tim Webb will be delivering the Thanksgiving message.

A reception will follow the one hour service.  A general offering will be collected during the service benefitting Bread Partners, Faith Mission, and Habitat for Humanity.

The Washington County Ministerial Alliance  was founded more than 60 years ago when the Rev. James E. Dennis of Mt. Rose and the Rev. Richard J. Weber of the Zionsville Lutheran Church shared a common vision to create an ecumenical association.
