CONVICTED MILAM CO. CHILD KILLER DIES IN PRISON

A Milam County woman who was convicted of the 2013 death of a toddler in her foster care has died in prison.
Sherill Small of Rockdale was convicted in late 2014 of the capital murder of two-year-old Alexandria Hill.
Authorities believe Alexandria was slammed head first into the ground after Small got frustrated with her in July 2013.
Alexandria died at a children's hospital the next month.
Small was serving a life sentence without possibility of parole. Milam County District Attorney Bill Torrey said she died of natural causes Wednesday.
