CORNYN/MCCALL TO ASK FOR ENHANCED AIRPORT SCREENINGS AT TEXAS AIRPORTS

  

In the wake of a call for more enhanced Ebola screenings at airports, two Texas members of Congress are joining in on that call. Sen. John Cornyn and Rep. Michael McCaul have requested that the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport be included with five other national airports selected for the enhanced screening.

Those other airports include New York’s JFK International, Washington Dulles, Chicago O’Hare and Atlanta Hartsfield.

The Department of Homeland Security this week had called for the enhanced screenings due to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa
