CORPUS CHRISTI MAN CHARGED IN BRENHAM WITH DWI
A Corpus Christi man faces charges after his arrest in Brenham Monday night, on a Third Offense-DWI charge.
Monday night around 6:30, Officer Jonathan Phipps responded to the intersection of Crockett and Center streets in reference to a crash.
The caller said the driver of the vehicle got out after the crash and started walking northbound on Gay Hill St.
Officers located 58-year old Eddie Jones of Corpus Christs, and attempted to conduct a field sobriety test.
Phipps was unable to get Jones to respond.
He was detained and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, third offense.
