COUNTERFEIT CASES IN BRENHAM INVESTIGATED

Brenham Police are investigating a pair of forgery cases from this weekend.
Sunday afternoon, Cpl. Jared. Campbell responded to the Brenham WalMart at the 200 block of US 290 West,in reference to two subjects trying to pay for items with counterfeit bills.
Upon investigating, Campbell was able to ascertain that 21-year old Taylor Lynn Plaster of Cypress was trying to use the fake money.
Plaster was arrested and transported to the Washington County jail.
Officer Ashley Burns was called out Friday night to the Pizza Hut at the 2500 block of S. Day.
The store manager said one of the drivers had received a counterfeit $100 bill for a pizza order.
This case remains under investigation.
