COUNTY COMMISSIONERS HAVE FULL AGENDA FOR TUESDAY

  

Washington County Commissioners have a full agenda for their meeting next Tuesday.

On the agenda, commissioners are expected to discuss a salary appeal requested by the Sheriff’s Office. They will also have a workshop session to discuss the annual spring cleaning events at the Collection Station.

Commissioners are also expected to move to establish a “Quite Zone” at the railroad crossing at FM 109.  The City Council of Brenham approved the zone on Thursday.

Commissioners are also expected to authorize the purchase and installation of the equipment needed to establish a Situational Command Room at EMS headquarters.  EMS is asking to used donated funds to construct a console with multiple monitors to use during high demand situations.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda:

Approval of the nominees to the Board of Directors of the Washington County Tax Appraisal District.

Renewal of an agreement for a mass notification system for the county.

A Subdivision Variance Request in Precinct 1.

Authorization of the County Engineer to advertise for bids for various materials and services.

Approval of a Patient Care Navigation Program Agreement between Baylor Scott and White Hospital and EMS.

Approval of new fees for indigent burials and transportation of bodies for autopsies.

Approve the disbursement of funds from the School Land Program to the Brenham and Burton School Districts.

And, approve the 2018 County Holiday Schedule.

The Washington County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the courthouse.
