COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO CONSIDER GRANT APPLICATIONS

  

Washington County Commissioners are expected to approve several grant applications during their meeting next Tuesday.  Commissioners will consider a grant application to the Brazos Valley Council of Governments for a local tire cleanup event for Washington County residents.  The will also look at a grant application from the Sheriff’s Office to the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division for a Forensic Equipment Project.

Also on Tuesday’s agenda, commissioners will discuss the county’s Rotation Log for Towing of Impounded, Junked, and Disabled Vehicles.  They are also expected to authorize the County Judge to enter into contracts with towing companies wanting to be placed on the rotation.

Commissioners will also consider a license agreement with the Brazos Valley Council of Governments for training material for EMS dispatchers.  They will also look at a variance request for a land division on Oevermann Road.

Commissioners are also expected to decide on their meeting dates for 2018 and the remainder of this year.

Commissioners meet next Tuesday morning at 9:00 in the Washington County Courthouse.
