COWBOYS’ ELLIOT SUSPENDED SIX GAMES
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended six games by the NFL for violating the personal conduct policy.
The suspension comes as a result of an investigation that started more than a year ago after an ex-girlfriend accused Elliott of domestic violence in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus City Attorney's office announced in September that it would not pursue charges against Elliott because of "conflicting and inconsistent information," but the NFL can penalize a player even without legal charges.
Elliott is expected to appeal the suspension.
Without an appeal, Elliott's suspension would begin Sept. 2. He would be eligible to return to the active roster Oct. 23, the day after the Cowboys' Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The solution is easy- just don’t buy their overpriced merchandise, buy tickets, or watch their games.
Is Elliott related to Manziel ?
Sick and tired of spoiled athletes! Like that player who sat down and ate a snack during National Anthem! Horrible! Money has ruined a lot of athletes sadly! Must respect USA! God Bless Our Military!
This connection with sports and patriotism is the strangest thing.
They will be ok, 4-2 without him, it’s Dak time again!!
I’m so tired of athletes getting into trouble. They think they r so Great and can get away with it. I love Football but I don’t like all this special treatment. U hit a woman u deserve to be gone from NFL. I like the Cowboys but I stand against bad behavior like hitting women. We need more Tebow like athletes for examples.
We still have a stout backfield while his, “2-3” game suspension is imposed… bc it won’t be 6 for sure.
Wow, Jerry knows how to pick um.
