CUB BAND TO PERFORM THIS SATURDAY

  

The Cub Band will perform in their first competition of the season this Saturday.

The band will be participating in the Blinn Marching Festival at Cub Stadium at 5:15 p.m. There will be 23 bands performing during the festival. Eric Retigg, the Director of Bands at Brenham High School, says they are looking forward to the festival as an opportunity to play in a quiet, marching band friendly atmosphere in preparation for the University Interscholastic League (UIL). Retigg says it is also a great opportunity for residents of Brenham to see the Cub Band show, Remains of the Day.

Looking forward, the Cub Band will compete Saturday, October 8th in Katy at 1:45 and on Saturday, October 15th in The Woodlands at 11:15 p.m. Retigg says these two performances will help fine tune the program in preparation for the October 25th UIL performance.
