CUBETTES & CUBS IN PLAYOFF DOUBLEHEADER, TUESDAY

The Brenham Cubs and Cubettes soccer teams will be making their 2014 post-season debut as part of a doubleheader Tuesday night in Bryan.

The Cubettes (14-5-4/8-2) enter as the runner in District 36/4A and will face Jacksonville, the third place team in District 35/4A, in game one of the doubleheader at 6:00 at Merrill Green Stadium at Bryan High School.

Friday night, the Cubettes fell to District Champion, College Station High School, 2-0.

The Cubs (11-11-1/7-3) finished the regular season as the third-place team in the district and will also face Jacksonville.  That game is set for 8:00 at Green Stadium.

Friday night, Cubs closed out the regular season with a shootout win over District Champ College Station, 2-2 (7-6).
