CUBETTES DOWN DISTRICT FOES
The Brenham Cubettes are one win closer the Region Finals after defeating Magnolia West on Friday night, 4-0. Meg Morris got the shut out in the circle, giving up 8 hits and striking out 6. At the plate the Cubettes were led by Maddie Weatherly who went 1-3, and had a 2-Run double. Kelly Jurden 2-4, scoring a run. Kat Marshall, 2-3, RBI. Sally Cangelosi, 1-3, double, RBI. The best of 3 series continues this afternoon at Alumni Field. First pitch is set for 5:00, with The Sports Doc and Tommy Lange on air at 4:30 with the pregame on KWHI and KWHI.com. If a game is necessary, it will be played immediately following, which can also be heard on KWHI.

So much fun to see my final group of girls be so successful. Keep me posted. I love you all! My granddaughter is playing softball and loving it. Second base, and went 4 for 4 in her first game. I keep showing her pictures of my Brenham Cubettes playing. You know, a picture is worth a thousand words. Seeing pictures of Cubettes batting and throwing has helped. Love you! Marty Sewall
