CUBETTES FALL IN LEAD OFF CLASSIC, FRIDAY

Clear Creek scored four runs in the third and three runs in the fourth to pull away to an 8-2 win over the Brenham Cubettes, Friday night in the Leadoff Classic at Alumni Field.

Brenham took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first on Kat Marshall's two-run homer.

The Cubettes held that lead until the top of the third when Clear Creek erupted for four runs, including a bunt that resulted in a run due to three Brenham errors.

Amanda Little took the loss, but was not helped out by a defense that committed six total errors.

Brenham will face Wylie today at noon and MacArthur at 6:00.  Both games can be heard on KWHI and www.kwhi.com.
