CUBETTES LOSE HEARTBREAKER TO DISTRICT LEADER MAGNOLIA

With just seconds left in the game the Cubettes could not capitalize on a steal that would have sealed the victory. Magnolia came from behind to defeat the Cubettes 34-33. The Cubettes were in the lead through the first three quarters 26-18, but Magnolia outscored the Cubettes 16-7 in the final frame. The Cubettes were led by Brianna Jerkins 10 points. The Cubettes moved to 6-5 in district play and next face Tomball on the road Tuesday night.
