CUBETTES, WILLIS, MAGNOLIA WEST TO DETERMINE SOFTBALL SEEDS
The Brenham Cubettes, Willis and Magnolia West softball team all won their regular season finales Friday night, creating at three-way tie for the District 20/5A Championship.
The three each finish with 11-3 district marks and are crowned tri-champions.
In order to determine the playoff seedings, the three will play it off over the next two nights.
Tonight, the Cubettes will face Willis at 6:30 at Montgomery High School. KWHI-AM 1280 will broadcast the game live, beginning with the Pre-game Show at 6:10 p.m.
The winner will advance to face Magnolia West. The losing team will be the #3 seed going into the playoffs.
Magnolia West will take on tonight’s winner tomorrow at 6:30 in Montgomery.
The Bi-District round of the playoffs will begin later this week.
