CUBS & CUBETTES REMAIN UNBEATEN IN DISTRICT SOCCER

The Brenham Cub and Cubette soccer teams upped their records to 2-0 in district play with wins Friday night over Brookshire-Royal.

The Cubettes blanked the Lady Falcons, 5-0 at Cubs Stadium, Friday night.

Au’Dresha Spates tallied two goals and two assists to back up the shutout goal keeping of Cassie Musser.

Spates assisted on goals by Brittney Wagers and Ana Brans.

Maria Aguado added the final Cubette goals.  Kourtney Hajek assisted on two Cubette goals.

The Cubettes (8-4-3/2-0) will be back in action Tuesday night at Rudder at 7:00.

The Cubs continued to roll in district play, downing the Falcons, 4-2 on the road.  The Cubs (6-8-1/2-0) haven’t loss a district game in nearly two seasons.

Jason Lopez scored twice, while Jerry Kent and Derrick Diggs each tallied goals en route to the win.

The Cubs will host Rudder, Tuesday night at 7:00 at Rankin Field at Hohlt Park.
