CUBS FACE MEMORIAL TONIGHT IN BATTLE OF 4-1 TEAMS

The Brenham Cubs face a stern test tonight when they travel to Tomball to face the Memorial Wildcats in District 20/5A play.

The Cubs (4-1/2-0) are coming off a 42-25 win at Waller last Friday night, while Memorial (4-1/1-1) suffered their first loss of the season, 21-14 at Magnolia West.

Cubs head coach Glen West says the team must get better at the ‘little things’ if they hope to beat Memorial…

West says offensively, the Wildcats are a power-oriented team…

Memorial is second in the district in defense, yielding just over 220 yards per game.

West says their defense presents some problems…

Kickoff at Tomball Stadium is set for 7:30.  The game can be heard on KWHI and www.kwhi.com beginning with the pre-game show at 7:00.
