CUBS SOCCER PLAYOFF BOUND; CUBETTES JUST MISS OUT

The Brenham Cub soccer team fell to Magnolia on Friday night 1-0. Magnolia sealed the victory on penalty kicks. However, all was not lost on the night, as Willis was defeated and that loss makes the Cubs playoff bound. The Cubs will now get ready for the first round of the playoffs where they will host Cedar Creek in Brenham. That Bi-District game will be held Thursday night 3/19 beginning at 6:00PM.

The Brenham Cubettes were also defeated on Friday night. Magnolia downed the Cubettes 3-2. The loss also ends their season as they needed Waller to fall on Friday night, also. That did not happen and the Cubettes end their season at 12-9-1 and 7-7 in district play.
