DATES SET FOR CITY/COUNTY SPRING CLEANUP
The city of Brenham’s annual Spring Cleanup is set to begin next week.
The yearly event is a chance for city and county residents to dispose of their trash for free.
The city’s collection station on Old Chappell Hill Road will offer free disposal to city residents Thursday-thru-Saturday, April 7th-to-9th and to county residents April 14th-to-16th.
Hours will be Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Proof of residency will be required, and only non-hazardous materials will be accepted.
Items accepted include: household and yard debris, furniture, scrap metals, appliances, demolition debris, automobile batteries, household computers and construction materials.
Loads that contain dirt, cement or bricks will not be accepted.
