DEADLINE FOR PROPERTY REEVALUATION, FRIDAY
Washington County Tax Appraiser Willie Dillworth reminds residents with property damaged in the May floods, that Friday is the last day to get on the list for property re-evaluation.
According to Dillworth, single-family homes, multi-family homes and mobile homes will be considered but not such things as driveway or fence damage, or land erosion.
The reappraisals would determine a property’s adjusted value after any damage incurred during the storms and subsequent flooding.
To be considered for possible reevaluation, a property owner must get on a list with the Tax Appraisal Office.
