DISASTER PREPAREDNESS WORKSHOP IN BASTROP BEING HELD

  

A Disaster Preparedness Workshop will be held for Bastrop small businesses today (Thursday)

The workshop is designed to equip small business owners with everything their business needs in case of such a disaster. Businesses will leave the workshop with a draft emergency plan. Participants will also hear a panel discussion featuring lessons learned from small business owners who have experienced a disaster. The workshop will feature a keynote address presented by former County Judge Ronnie McDonald who is well versed in disaster preparedness. The event is open to attendees from all across the region.

The half day workshop is set to place from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Bastrop Convention Center located at 1408 Chestnut Street.
