DISMEMBERED BODY FOUND NEAR BRAZOS RIVER IN WALLER COUNTY
Investigators with the Waller County Sheriff’s Office are investigating what appears to be human torso discovered in a black garbage bag near the Brazos River and Highway 290 near the Washington County line.
The body was found by some fisherman in the area on Wednesday afternoon about fifty feet from the water’s edge.
The Waller County Sheriff’s office said that the bag was tied, but the bottom had busted open, and the arms, legs and head are missing.
DNA samples will be taken to try to get the identity of the body. The gender of the body has not yet been determined, and it is possible the body had been there two or three days.
The body has been taken to the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
