DOWNTOWN BRENHAM DETOUR, FRIDAY
The City of Brenham will be assisting with a planned detour on Alamo St Friday morning.
This detour is due to Phase II related to maintenance work on a downtown building located at 216 E. Alamo. The building owner removed a large air conditioner from the roof last week and now will be lifting the replacement unit into place with a crane, necessitating the street closure.
The detour will be diverting traffic off of E. Alamo onto S. St Charles St in this area.
From there, traffic will be placed onto Commerce St. and back to S. Market St.
The closure is expected to be between 9 am-11 am.
