NO ONE INJURED IN VEHICLE/TRAIN ACCIDENT
No one was injured when a train struck a truck stuck on the railroad tracks near Kenney Thursday afternoon.
At about 3:45 Thursday, a vehicle crossing the railroad tracks just off Highway 36 near Kenney became stuck on the tracks with a train approaching. The driver was able to escape the vehicle before it was struck by the train and pushed onto its side.
The Texas Department of Public Safety and Austin County Sheriff are investigating.
