DPS SERGEANT INDICTED IN CENTRAL TEXAS

A central Texas DPS sergeant is free on bond after his arrested on a warrant charging indecency with a child.
60-year old Sgt., Harpin Myers, Jr., 60, turned himself in Thursday at the Bell County Jail, following the return of a sealed grand jury indictment.
The Bell County Grand Jury returned the indictment Wednesday following an investigation by the Bell County Sheriff’s Department into a report of an incident involving a 15-year-old girl.
The indictment alleges the incident happened in November of 2015.
Myers posted a $10,000 bond and was released.
