DR. WALTER JACKSON WELCOMED AS NEW BRENHAM ISD SUPERINTENDENT
Brenham ISD and the community Thursday evening welcomed Dr. Walter Jackson, the new Brenham ISD superintendent, to Brenham during a brief Brenham School Board meeting yesterday.
Melvin Ehlert, School Board President officially welcomed Jackson by an official board vote.
The Brenham High School band was there to start the meeting by playing the Star Spangled Banner.
Dr. Jackson expressed his appreciation for being chosen as superintendent. He then proceeded to introduce his family.
The meeting ended by a meet and greet in the auditorium, where Dr. Jackson again expressed his appreciation for being chosen for the job, and how he looks forward to being part of the community.
Jackson officially starts the job April 20th.
