DRIVER ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSION
A Houston-area man faces marijuana charges after a traffic stop in Brenham late Tuesday night.
Just before midnight, Cpl. Edward Ortega conducted a traffic stop in the intersection of Tom Green and S. Austin.
Ortega says as he spoke to the driver, 19-year old William Ryan Lidiak of Spring, he could smell the strong odor of marijuana.
During a probable cause search, Ortega located marijuana and Lidiak was arrested. He is charged with Possession of marijuana under in a drug free zone
