DRIVER FACES D.W.I. CHARGE AFTER ACCIDENT
A Brenham man faces charges after a hit and run accident Wednesday night.
Just after 10:30, Cpl. Steven Eilert responded to a hit and run call in the 400 block of College Ave.
Officers were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle in the 700 block of Cottonwood Drive.
Authorities say 34-year old Carlos Jimenez Avendano of Brenham, failed a field sobriety test.
Avendano is charged with Driving While Intoxicated Blood-Alcohol level over .15.
