DUSTIN STEINFELD SHOWS GRAND CHAMPION STEER AT FAIR

  

Dustin Steinfeld showed the Grand Champion Steer at the Washington County Fair Wednesday.  He won the overall honors with his Heavy Weight American Breed Steer.   Dustin is the son of Steven and Kendall Steinfeld and is a member of Prairie Hill 4-H Club.  Reserve Champion honors went to McKenzie Tiemann of the Burton 4-H Club.  She is the daughter of Wade and Julie Tiemann and a 4th grade student at Krause Elementary.  She won Overall Reserve Champion with her Heavy Weight European Breed Steer.

Caleb Fuchs took won European Breed Grand Champion with his Medium Weight Steer.  He is a sophomore at Burton High School and a member of Burton 4-H.  His sister Cassidy Fuchs was awarded Reserve Champion in the American Breed.  She is an 8th grade student at Burton Junior High.  Their parents are Melinda and Luke Fuchs.

The Junior Livestock Auction begins at 2:00 pm today (Thursday).  The auction has 260 lots and will be broadcast live on KWHI and KWHI.COM.
