DWIGHT YOAKUM TO CLOSE OUT WASHINGTON CO. FAIR TONIGHT
Dwight Yoakum is the headline talent for the final evening of the Washington County Fair tonight (Saturday) in Brenham.
Dwight Yoakum is expected to take the stage at the Washington County Fairgrounds at 11 o’clock tonight (Saturday) following opening act Walker County.
Before that, there is a full day of activities on the final day of the 149th Fair. This (Saturday) morning highlights include the Dairy judging throughout the morning, Little Wrangler hay hauling in the entertainment pavilion at 10, and the Pet Show at 10:30.
The Superior Champions Youth Auction Reception is at noon in the Event Center, followed by the Auction at 1:00. Dr. Lew Sterrett will speak at the Sermon on the Mount at the Rodeo Arena at 1:00. The Antique Farm Machinery sponsored Slow Races, Backseat Driver, Circle Race and Teeter-Totter Contest are at 4:30. Barn #1 will host the Greased Pig and Youth Hay Hauling Contest at 6:00. And if you attend the Rodeo tonight at 7:30 you’ll get to see the Washington County Calf Scramble, the Wild Steer Saddling, and Tumbleweed Crossing Comedy Wild West Gunfight Stunt Show.
