EARLY MORNING DRIVE ENDS IN ARREST

  

An early morning drive through downtown Brenham ended in an arrest for a Houston teenager.  Brenham police officers were on foot patrol in downtown Brenham at 4:20 am Sunday when they saw a vehicle approaching on Main Street at a high rate of speed. One officer attempted to stop the vehicle using his flashlight, but it sped off. Officers were able to locate the vehicle, and as they approached it, the driver ran off. They were able to detain one of the passengers who also tried to run. Three female passengers were released to their parents.  Arrested and charged with evading arrest was Tyrrelle Desean Rogers, age 17, of Houston.
