EARLY-MORNING DRUG ARREST
A Brenham man faces drug possession charges after his arrest early this (Monday) morning.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m. Sgt. Curtiss Schoen was called to the 2300 block of South Day to a report of a man riding through a parking lot on a bike looking into cars.
According to Schoen, 32-year old Fermit Ray III said he was just out riding on a bike borrowed from a friend.
Schoen says Ray agreed to a search which turned up four yellow pills that turned out to be Hydrocodone—which Ray admitted he didn’t have a prescription for.
Ray is charged with possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams.
