EARLY VOTING BEGINS TODAY FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION

  

Today (Monday) marks the first day for early voting for the November 8th general election.VOTE FEATURE

Early voting will take place through November 4th. In Washington County, the voting will take place at the Courthouse Annex across from the Courthouse in Brenham.

Early voting will take place:  Monday-thru-Friday, October 24-28 and October 31-through-November 4 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Next Saturday (10/29) from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm; and Sunday (10/30) from Noon to 3:00 pm.

In addition to the national and state-wide races, the local ballot includes three contested races:

District-13 State Representative between, Republican incumbent Leighton Schubert and Democrat challenger Cecil Webster.

Washington County Commissioner-Precinct One between, Democrat Lewis Houser and Republican Don Koester.

And, Washington County Commissioner-Precinct Three between, Republican incumbent Kirk Hannath and Democrat challenger Joanne Dougherty.
