EARLY VOTING CONTINUING THROUGH THIS WEEK

  

According to County Clerk, Beth Rothermel, citizens took advantage of the “extra voting hours” this weekend. 112 citizens placed their votes on Saturday and 65 on Sunday. With the weekend numbers it brings Washington County to 890 voting in the Republican primary and 173 voting in the Democratic primary.

The last week of early voting will take place this week, today (Monday) through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm at the Courthouse Annex in downtown Brenham.

Voters that have a difficult time entering a polling place, may qualify to vote "curbside".  They must still bring their ID with them but a ballot can be brought out to their vehicle for ease and convenience.
