EIGHTEEN INDICTED BY 21ST GRAND JURY

  

Two men, one from Brenham and another from Bryan, face felony charges after the latest session of the Washington County Grand Jury.

27-year old Kenneth Brooks Helmer of Brenham and 34-year old
Andrew Johnson of Bryan were each indicted on a charge of Theft Between $1500-and-20,000 from the elderly.

The charges stem from the theft of a boat motor from an elderly man in the Old Washington area back in November.

Also indicted by the 21st Grand Jury was 29-year old Amanda Tiffin of Brenham on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Tiffin is charged with assaulting a victim with some sort of unknown object.

23-year old Randy Wayne Johnson of Brenham was indicted on a charge of Criminal Mischief Between $1500-and-20,000 for allegedly using his vehicle to intentionally hit another car.

Also indicted was 35-year old Cullen Dee Lampe on a charge of Endangering a Child.  Lampe is accused of striking a family member while they were holding a small child back in September of last year.

42-year old Juan Valorias Mesa of Houston was indicted on a charge of Theft of $1500-to-20,000, Tax Evasion and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.

Four people were indicted on forgery charges, including: 25-year old Cebrina Midkiff of Brenham (9 counts), 17-year old Adam Glenn Scott Rodgers of Brenham (2 counts), 20-year old Daydrin Andre Hope-Phillips of Brenham, and 66-year old Robert Williams of Brenham (4 counts).

Four people were indicted on drug possession charges including: 23-year old Crispin Contee of Brenham, 21-year old Dasia Eubanks of Houston, 18-year old Michael Deante Savere of Pflugerville and 23-year old Jakob Schauer of Willis.  Schauer is also charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Two indictments for Burglary of a Building were returned against 23-year old Sammy Demon Madison of Brenham and 27-year old Andrea Shamon Harris, also of Brenham.

Theft indictments were also filed against 26-year old Christina McDonald of Brenham and 48-year old Helen Johnson of Caldwell.
