A 25-year old Brenham man, originally from El Salvador was arrested in the early evening hours Wednesday for the misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Brenham police officer Justin Schiller stopped a car on Jackson Street at 6:40pm after the driver failed to signal a turn.
Schiller described the driver as being ‘excessively friendly and excessively cooperative.’
He had two passengers in the car with him. When Cpl. Seth Klem came for back up, he asked if there was anything illegal in the car.
Passenger Ever Antonio-Bateres said he had two half smoked marijuana joints with him. He was arrested for the misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
