ELEVEN TO VYE FOR FAYETTE CO. FAIR QUEEN

  

A group of eleven high school students will be seeking the title of Fayette County Fair Queen this year.

The young lady selling the most tickets to the fair will be crowned queen of the Fayette County Fair on opening day, September 1st.  This year’s contestants include from La Grange High School, seniors Brittany Weyand representing the Knights of Columbus Chromcik Council #2575, Stacey Gallindo representing the La Grange Optimist Club, and Janet Soto representing the VFW; junior Ashley Ellia representing Woodmen of the World; sophomores Sayla Surman representing La Grange Little League and Estela Cabrera representing the Ellinger Chamber of Commerce; and freshmen Brenna Iannelli representing the La Grange Rotary Club, and Belen Cerda representing the Gardenia E. Jansen Animal Shelter.  From Round Top Carmine High School, freshman Bayley Ward representing the Round Top Family Library.  From Flatonia High School, junior Madeline Dornak representing the Flatonia Chamber of Commerce.  And from Schulenburg High School, junior Alissa Smith representing the Fayette County Sheriff’s Posse.
